Medical DirectorDr. Martin has had a distinguished career spanning over 40 years in the Orlando area. As a General and Vascular Surgeon his interests have not only included vascular disease, both arterial and venous, but wound care. Dr. Martin earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yale University and his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his general surgery residency at New York Hospital – Cornell, associated with Columbia Presbyterian and a vascular fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is board-certified in general and vascular surgery and received certification from the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine in 2008. Dr. Martin is registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He has been certified by the American Board of Wound Management, which recognizes expertise in treating wounds and was a founder and medical director of central Florida’s first wound care center. He has had an ongoing interest in minimally invasive therapies for wounds and the physical challenges of the aging. Together our mission is to do everything possible to promote leg health using the latest medically proven technology.
