Dr. Joseph Bernardo is a board-certified pediatrician and fellowship-trained pediatric critical care medicine physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in downtown Orlando. He cares for seriously ill infants and children and has expertise in diagnosing acute and life-threatening illnesses, stabilizing critically ill patients, sepsis and respiratory failure. Dr. Bernardo earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology and cell science at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He received his medical degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and completed his pediatrics residency and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer.
